The zombie apocalypse is far from over. Prime Video has announced that the highly anticipated next chapter in the Spanish survival saga, Apocalypse Z: New World, is officially slated to premiere on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The Halloween release date promises a chilling return to a world ravaged by the undead.
Following the events of the 2024 hit Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End, this new installment shifts the narrative to the shores of the Atlantic, exploring how humanity is clinging to survival in the aftermath of the TSJ virus.
A New Sanctuary
The story takes us to the Canary Islands, which have become Europe’s last refuge following the outbreak of the TSJ virus. While the mainland has fallen to the infected, the archipelago stands as a beacon of hope—though not without its own dangers. When a special mission sets out for the mainland in search of vital supplies, Roberto joins the team with questionable intentions. His motives remain unclear, adding a layer of psychological tension to the already deadly mission.

The film boasts a returning star and exciting new additions to the ensemble. Leading the cast is Jose Maria Yazpik (Borderland, Everybody Loves Somebody), who reprises his role as Pritchenko. He is joined by Berta Vázquez, who takes on the role of Lucía, a key figure in the fight for survival.
