Opened in 1942\, the arena has hosted everything from rodeos to rock concerts\, and professional wrestling has been a regular fixture within its walls for decades. With a capacity of approximately 5\,250 for wrestling events\, the Coliseum offers an intimate atmosphere where every seat feels close to the action. \nLocated at 4100 East Paisano Drive\, the venue is easily accessible from I-10 and offers ample parking for attendees. Its central location makes it a convenient destination for fans traveling from across the Borderland region\, including neighboring Las Cruces\, New Mexico. \nWhat to Expect on the Card\nWhile TNA has yet to officially announce the full match card\, speculation is already running wild among wrestling fans. December episodes of iMPACT! traditionally serve as a launching point for storylines heading into the new year\, and this taping is expected to be no different. \nFans can anticipate appearances from TNA’s top stars\, potentially including: \n\n\nWorld Championship implications: With Genesis and other major pay-per-view events typically scheduled for early in the year\, the December 17 taping could feature number-one contender matches or championship bouts that set the stage for winter programming. \n\n\nKnockouts Division action: TNA’s Knockouts Division remains one of the most respected in professional wrestling\, and El Paso fans can expect to see the division’s brightest stars competing for positioning. \n\n\nTag Team warfare: The tag team division has historically been a strength for TNA\, and the afternoon show could feature high-energy tag bouts perfect for a matinee crowd. \n\n\nEl Paso: A Pro Wrestling Hotbed\nEl Paso has a rich professional wrestling history. The city’s proximity to the Mexican border has fostered a unique blend of American and Lucha Libre styles that resonates with local audiences. Wrestlers from both sides of the border have long considered El Paso a special place to perform\, and TNA’s decision to bring a television taping to the city reflects the market’s importance. \nLocal fans have proven their passion for wrestling time and again\, consistently turning out for events featuring major promotions. The December 17 iMPACT! taping is expected to draw a strong crowd\, particularly with the holiday season bringing families together. \nTicket Information\nTickets for TNA iMPACT! at the El Paso County Coliseum are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks.
